New Online Booking System
We are now using an online booking system called “Ocean”. (Pomelo is inactivated). All active patients can easily access this system without an account. You simply need to enter in your name, personal health number (PHN), and birthdate. You can view the schedules of your family physician and all our associates/locums. If your concern is URGENT and you cannot find a timely appointment with any doctor, please call the office or email us at kitsfamilypractice@gmail.com and type “URGENT” in the subject line.

Forms and Requisitions
For security reasons, forms and requisitions may be sent to you through the Ocean platform rather than through the Kits Family Practice gmail account. Watch for emails from “Ocean MD”. PLEASE print or save the attachments as you may only open the message once. Please email us at kitsfamilypractice@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Errors/miscommunication can occur. Please contact us if you have NOT received expected information in a reasonable period of time.
Email us if you have not received a requistion/form/information which you were expecting within two days of your doctor’s visit. Unless urgent, we may not be able to email you within the same office day.
Re: Specialist appointments: The wait times for specialists/referral clinics are variable. If you have not heard from us or the specialists’ office within 4 weeks, please feel free to contact us.
Welcome, Dr. Jennifer Yue!
Please welcome Dr. Jennifer Yue, Dr. Su’s classmate from medical school, who has moved back to Vancouver after practicing as a full-time family physician in Alberta for almost 20 years. She has joined our practice and will be seeing our patients two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). She is NOT taking on new patients. Please book with Dr. Yue if you are unable to book with your own physician.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Jeraldine Chan return to our practice on January 15, 2024. She will be working Monday mornings and full days on Wednesdays and Fridays. She is NOT taking on new patients. Please book with Dr. Chan if you are unable to book with your own physician.
Reminder: Emails are not checked after office hours!
- Unfortunately, some patients continue to email us after-hours and on weekends and stat holidays with urgent emails
- Emails are NOT monitored outside of office hours, so please PAGE the doctor on-call if you have an urgent concern after -hours.
- How do I page the on-call doctor? Call our office number (604-733-5181) and listen to the prompts. There is one option for our office patients and another option for maternity patients. The doctor will call you back usually within 30 minutes. Please page again if there is no reply within 30-60 minutes.
COVID Update
For the safety of our other patients (especially those who are immunocompromised), please mask when you come to the office. Inform us AHEAD of time if you have signs of a respiratory infection and please COVID test at home.
